Mrs. Ferguson's 7th grade science students learned about the Lunar Moon Cycle using Oreo cookies. Students created the "phases of the moon" activity in a hand's on engaging way that was fun as well as educating. Students learned how to identify the different moon phases as well as being able to explain why, and how the moon phases occur.
