Tonight's (Monday, 12/7/220) HHS Christmas Choir performance is limited to only two (2) guests per choir member due to safety restrictions in our auditorium. The concert starts at 7:00. It will also be live streamed on USD210 Facebook.

At a special meeting today, the USD 210 Board of Education voted to move Hugoton Elementary and ECDC to Phase 2.0 beginning on Monday, October 5. Hugoton Middle School will remain in Phase 2.2 and Hugoton High School will remain in Phase 4 Hybrid. On Monday, October 19, Hugoton High School will move back to Phase 2.2.

Hugoton USD 210 is pleased to offer breakfast and lunch to all the students enrolled in our school, even remote learners. For remote learner and students not scheduled to have face to face learning, we will also provide lunch at the same time as breakfast. Pickup meals are only for ENROLLED REMOTE/HYBRID LEARNERS.
Meals will be free to all students through 12/31/2020.
Pickup time for the meals will be 10:30 am to 1:00 pm every day. We will have a central pickup location for the District which will be at the Middle/High School kitchen. You will need to park your vehicle in the parking lot outside the Gymnasium entrance in the front of the building. You will see the area where food trucks deliver to the kitchen (brick walls on both sides with one side lined with trash dumpsters). You will walk up to the silver door, ring the doorbell and someone will be there to greet you. If you are picking up the meals for your children and they are not present you will need their names written down on a piece of paper to hand to the cashier. They will verify you are their parents/legal guardians then you will be given their meals.
You will need to pre order meals a week at a time. The deadline will be end of day on Thursday to order for the next week. We ask that you review your schedule closely before you pre order to ensure you will be able to pick up your meals. You will need to go to the District website and fill out a google form to pre order your meals. Form is located under "In the Nest 2020".

HHS Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, July 11th at 9:00 am at the football stadium. We are encouraging families to sit in family units and socially distance from other family units (minimum 6 feet apart). Seating will be available in both the home and visitor stands. We are also making available the East side of the football field for any who wish to bring their own lawn chairs. Masks will be available for anyone who wishes to take one. We encourage families and the community to help us celebrate our wonderful seniors safely.

The 3rd/4th grade music program has been rescheduled for tomorrow- Friday, May 10th at 2:30 in the HES Gym.

Due to the threat of bad weather, tonight's 3rd/4th grade music concert is cancelled but will be rescheduled as a DAY performance. More info will be shared later re: the rescheduled date/time.

3rd & 4th grade Spring Music Program: Tues, May 7 @ 7:00pm in the HES Gym. Please enter through the sixth grade doors.

Senior Showcase will be Friday, May 10, 2019 at 6:30 in the auditorium.This special evening will honor EVERY 2019 senior as they share their "next step" after graduation. Senior awards, scholarships, and military enlistments will be awarded.

HHS Pre-Registration for 8th -11th graders will be on Friday, April 12, 2019 9th-11th graders will pre-register beginning at 8:15, starting with seniors 2020. 8th graders will pre-register starting at 1:00 in the old HHS gym. Parents are welcome to attend with their student.

So it appears like some students have had a little fun with photoshop excusing school tomorrow and Friday. To those students, I hate to break it to you, we still have school on April 4th and April 5th.

The track will be closed until further notice, so that the final coat can be sprayed on and lines can be painted. We appreciate your patience and help so that we can finish this project.

Wrestling and Wrestling Cheer parents: we have been closely monitoring weather and are sending the bus south to Wichita to avoid the winter storm. Once there, we will evaluate the weather again and determine if they can get back safely on Hwy 54, or if they will need to stay another night. Due to the threat of inclement weather, the kickoff for tonight’s game at Pratt has been moved up to 6:00 p.m.

The Homecoming Parade scheduled for today has been canceled. The Pep Rally scheduled for downtown at 3:00 has been moved to the HS Gym. The public is invited to attend.

Parents tomorrow is the Homecoming Parade which will take place on Main Street at 3:00. Please plan on your student arriving back to the middle school after 3:30. The buses will be delayed so if your student rides a bus they will be fine as the bus will wait on them. The HMS Office will also close at 2:45 and will open back up after the parade.
