To celebrate the end of Random Acts of Kindness month at HES, 2nd graders from the Kindness Club did a random act of kindness for the community of Hugoton. Mrs. Sarah Trujillo, Primary School Counselor, and her 2nd grade Kindness Club handed out small plants that they had planted to businesses in the community on Friday, February 24th, with the hope that "Kindness continues to grow." Mrs. Trujillo and her students hope the community continues to pay it forward with being kind even outside the month of February! The 2nd grade Kindness Club can be seen in this picture sharing a plant with Stacey Strickland at the Stevens County Library.
