It is a three day week but it is another busy one, with parent teacher conferences! This month is flying by!

Community Service!

We are pleased to announce that the volunteer connections Mrs. Acosta has made over the years with HALO are not going to waste. This year we are asking that all clubs and activities encourage their students to volunteer and give back to our community. We are currently looking for more opportunities to volunteer around town as well. If you would like to reach out please contact Mrs. Acosta at sonia.acosta@usd210.org

HOSA is the first club to volunteer, as one of their goals is to "help the betterment of the community."

We will be at the VFW from 9:00 am to 11:30 am on Tuesday September 23rd.

Students will be assisting with:

  • Setting up tables

  • Unloading canned goods from the trailer

  • Packing food boxes with the required items

  • Loading the boxes into families' vehicles upon arrival at the pickup site
