I would like to clarify our Final Exam Exemption guidelines, which are designed to reward students for their hard work, dedication, and positive choices throughout the semester. Just like companies that offer bonuses for strong attendance and performance, we want to recognize and celebrate students who consistently show up, stay engaged, and demonstrate success in their classes.
We also understand that sometimes life happens and when absences are necessary, your child's well being will always come first. However, those situations do not change the requirements set for earning this reward. Our goal is to provide a fair incentive that encourages great habits while honoring the efforts of students who have maintained high standards all semester long.
Final Exam Exemption Requirements:
Maintain A or B average.
No more than 4 absences per hour, per semester.
No more than 3 tardies per hour, per semester.
No disciplinary infractions.
All and only school activities absences are excused.
If a student is exempt from all their finals this is what is required of them.
Their last day of school is Tuesday, December 16th and we hope you have a wonderful break!
