Mr. Kent’s Updates

As we begin the new year, it’s a great time to start fresh and set a positive tone for the months ahead. This is an opportunity for students to refocus, reconnect with their teachers and classmates, and settle into routines that will help them succeed. With patience, encouragement, and clear expectations at home and at school, we can help students feel supported, confident, and ready to learn. By working together and celebrating small successes along the way, we can help our children start the year strong and stay on track for a successful semester.

This Week…. Dec 14th - Dec 20th

This week is shaping up to be a busy and exciting one! Students will be participating in MAPS testing, attending student organization meetings, and taking part in a variety of athletic and activity events. With early dismissals and students coming and going, testing may feel a little different as the week goes on, but with planning and communication, we’re confident students will stay on track and succeed.

HOSA is hosting an interactive science fair for our 5th graders, giving them a hands-on opportunity to explore the wonders of science and inspiring them to think about future careers in STEM.

Our HHS Band students also have an exciting experience this week with the Sterling College Honor Band. They’ll work alongside talented musicians from around the state, learn new music, and perform a concert after just a few hours of rehearsal. A wonderful chance to grow their skills, make new friends, and celebrate the joy of music.

It’s going to be a full week, and we’re excited to see students learning, exploring, and shining in so many ways!

Also, StuCo is hosting a Daddy Daughter Dance!
