Mr. Kent’s Updates
Prom season is here, and it’s exciting to see the energy building! Our community truly embraces this tradition, and Promenade continues to be a highlight that brings everyone together. As we enjoy these moments, we also recognize that we have just 6 weeks left with our seniors and 7 weeks with our underclassmen. Let’s make every day count. This is a great time to celebrate our students, stay focused, and reflect on ways we can continue to grow and improve for next year.

This Week…. Apr 5th - Apr 11th
Wishing you and your family a joyful and meaningful Easter. This time of year reminds us of the importance of hope, renewal, and togetherness. As spring brings new beginnings, may your days be filled with peace, laughter, and time spent with those who matter most.
We are grateful for such a supportive and caring community, and we hope this Easter brings you rest, happiness, and a sense of renewal for the days ahead.
Robotics Fundraiser
Join us this Saturday to support our USD 210 Robotics students as they prepare for the World LEGO League Competition in Houston later this month! Come check out incredible projects from our elementary, middle, and high school teams, enjoy interactive robot battles, and see the amazing work happening across our programs.
Grab a bite to eat, get your car washed just in time for prom, and be part of a fun, hands-on event for all ages, everything is by free-will donation. We appreciate the incredible support from our Hugoton community and hope to see you there!
Prom Rundown
As we prepare for Prom, we are excited to see our students come together to create a memorable experience for our school community. Junior class members will be decorating the cafeteria on Friday, April 10 beginning at the 1:30 PM dismissal. Students who are in good standing and passing their classes will be dismissed to assist, and we appreciate the support of our coaches and staff in allowing juniors to participate. Their teamwork and effort play a big role in making this event special.
Prom will take place on Saturday, April 11, with the cafeteria open to the public from 5:00–6:45 PM for anyone who would like to view the decorations. Promenade will begin at 7:00 PM, followed by crowning around 9:00 PM and the dance shortly after. The evening will conclude at midnight, with Post Prom beginning approximately 30 minutes later. On Sunday at 2:00 PM, the sophomore class will assist with cleanup and begin brainstorming ideas for next year.
We encourage students and families to be mindful of timing, especially for Promenade, to help the event run smoothly. If students are arriving by vehicle, please plan ahead to have someone available to park, as valet services will not be provided.
Thank you to our staff, students, and community for your continued support in making Prom a safe, organized, and memorable event for everyone involved.
