Mr. Kent’s Updates
It is hard to believe that we have officially reached the final week of the school year. This week is always filled with a mix of emotions of excitement for summer, pride in accomplishments, and reflection on everything we have experienced together throughout the year.
As we close out the year, remember to enjoy the moments ahead, stay safe, and take care of one another. Let’s make this final week positive, productive, and memorable for everyone.

Schedule for Underclassmen on Monday May 18th and Tuesday May 19th.
It is the students responsibility to show up on time to the classroom for finals they need to take.
8:00 am - 9:40 am, 1st or 2nd hour depending on the day.
9:45 am - 11:25 am, 3rd or 4th hour depending on the day.
11:30 am - 1:10 pm, Seminar or 6th hour depending on the day.
1:15 pm - 1:45 pm, Lunch
1:50 pm - 3:30 pm, 7th or 8th hour depending on the day.
As we enter finals week at Hugoton High School, we would like to share a few important reminders and updates to help ensure a smooth and successful end to the school year.
During final exam periods, students who complete their exams early will remain quietly in the classroom until the testing period has ended. This helps us maintain a focused and respectful environment for all students still testing.
Please remind your student that arriving at each final on time is their responsibility throughout the week.
Students will complete checkout procedures on Wednesday.
On Wednesday during the half day, all students will report to their seminar teachers. Students will be called down by seminar class to complete checkout procedures. Please remind students to have their iPads fully charged and ready for turn-in.
