We are hosting our middle school and high school track meet, along with a high school golf meet, and this schedule allows our staff and students the opportunity to support our athletes in these home events.

We’re excited to begin planning for our upcoming Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) programs! To help us prepare and ensure your child has a smooth start, we kindly ask that all ECDC Pre-Enrollment Forms be completed and submitted by Monday, April 13.

The Stevens County Health Department will be offering health assessments during our upcoming ECDC Enrollment Night on April 14th for a $30 fee. Please note that a completed health assessment is required for enrollment, along with a certified birth certificate and current immunization records. We look forward to helping you get everything ready for your child’s successful start!

We’re excited to welcome our newest learners and families to our upcoming Preschool Enrollment Night! Join us on Tuesday, April 14th from 5:00–7:00 PM to learn more about our program, meet our staff, and get your child ready for a great start to their school journey. HES is hosting a "Bike to School" day on Wed, May 6th. We are needing volunteers to stand at the 4 main intersections around the elementary school/ECDC to ensure that students cross safely when riding to and from school on this day. Please click on the link to sign up for a 20 min. time slot.

With the boys win last night, we will be playing at 5:30 pm in Hutchinson on Friday. To assist our community, staff, and students get to the game on time, we will dismiss school at 11:30 am tomorrow.

Knights of Columbus Free Throw Contest

USD 210 – No School Today (Friday, January 9, 2026)

Due to the timing and projected amount of snowfall, USD 210 will not have school today, Friday, January 9, 2026.

All activities scheduled for today will be rescheduled, with the exception of wrestling, which will depart prior to the onset of the storm. There will be no practices today.

Daycare services will remain open as scheduled.

As of this evening, the forecasted weather event for tomorrow remains uncertain in both timing and potential impact. Nick Martin, Jesus Manriquez, and Jackson Turner visited HES bearing boxes of new Winter coats. They want to make sure that our students are nice and cozy throughout the Winter. Thank you for your generous donation!

Elementary Parents: Please consider joining the Primary and Intermediate School Principals for a 45 minute session to visit about what is happening at HES as well as what is being planned for future events and activities. All parents are welcome! If you would like to attend, please email sonja.watkins@usd210.org or kaylea.britton@usd210.org to let them know you will be attending.
